The Compact Double Room is our most affordable option for two guests — a cosy, well-equipped space that makes a great base for couples or friends who plan to spend their days out exploring London. At 11.4m², the room is compact by design, so it's worth noting that space around the bed is limited and in some configurations the bed may touch the walls on both sides.

What it lacks in square footage it more than makes up for in location — you're directly opposite Hyde Park, two minutes from Lancaster Gate tube, and 15 minutes from Heathrow via the Heathrow Express from Paddington.
